From Greece

Thanos Petrelis was born and grew up in Athens.

Since his childhood, his love for singing was obvious; but without having thought of being professionally involved.

It was in 1998 where he started (professionally) his live shows in Athens.

Since then, he is been unfailingly singing until 2002 when he decides to participate in the first greek TV talent show, the Fame Story. From the begging of the show, he marks out until the final round when he finds himself between the three winners.

From that moment, his success will be followed by live shows (with the group of Fame Story) in Athens and Thessaloniki and concerts all over Greece; whereas during autumn 2003 he sings with Peggy Zina in Thessaloniki and Athens.

In 2004 summer, apart his appearances on the stage, he releases his first disc "Exei to hroma tou ouranou" sealed with the cooperation in two songs, with the "hits" composer Phoebus. Obviously the two songs became great hits and his album became gold with more than 30,000 sales. This year he sings with Nino, Elena Paparizou and Apostolia Zoi in the new night club in Athens "Thalassa".

During winter 2004-2005 Thanos Petrelis cooperates with the singer Despoina Vandi in "REX" when they share together the duet "Kanto an m'agapas' in her personal disc "Stin avli tou paradisou".

In 2005, Thanos releases his second disc signed by Phoebus and at the same time he became the new star of the greek music with his appearances in "Thalassa" from summer until winter 2005-2006. The song "Thimizeis kati apo Ellada" became a silver disc and the song "Kernao" the absolute hit of the year!!

In summer 2006, Thanos continues his live shows in "Thalassa" and releases the cd single "Eftihos", another fruitful cooperation with Phoebus, rewarded with another golden disc.

During winter 2006-2007, Thanos cooperates with the singer Elli Kokkinou in "Apollon" and in continuance he realizes many "sold out" concerts in USA, Africa and Australia.

Finally in June 2007, he realizes his third personal album, signed by Phoebus, "Eimai akomi eleftheros", when at the end of the same month he starts his shows in "Thalassa" the most popular "music hunt" in Athens.
