Southbound is WA's only music & camping festival.

There is a maximum 4 ticket limit per person for Southbound.
Southbound 2015 is an 18+ event.
Children can attend but must be accompanied by their parent at ALL times.

Southbound 2014 was a pretty hard festival experience to top, we celebrated our tenth birthday and boy did we have fun! Earlier this month we announced some pretty big news, the most significant change to the festival in its ten years of existence - the opportunity to camp next to your cars at next year's Southbound. We gained massive amounts of positive feedback on this and cannot wait to get amongst the camping spirit in 2015.

As usual, we've been holed up for months here at Sunset HQ working to bring you yet again another memorable lineup. We've been so keen to share the news and this one has been hard to keep under wraps! Summer just got a little bit more exciting folks... check out the artists who'll be soaking up the Southbound sun with us in January here below -

Pretty amazing right?! These are our sounds of summer and it's just around the corner. Southbound has featured a huge amount of breaking Aussie talent over the years and we're excited to check out the new releases coming out over the next few months from our Southbound 2015 artists.

We're still working on a handful of other national and local acts to join this batch of red hot names and will be keeping you up to date over the coming weeks. In the meantime, we suggest you get to know our Southbound 2015 artists better, right here.

Ticketing - Terms & Conditions

Patrons agree to the following terms and conditions of ticket purchase and entry to Southbound.

18+ patrons - VALID PHOTO ID is required. Only the following forms of ID are acceptable for entry to the festival under WA Liquor Licensing Laws:

  • a current Australian driver's license (international driver's licenses will not be accepted); or
  • a current passport; or
  • a current Western Australian proof of age card (other state issued proof of age cards will not be accepted).
  • A current Australian learner’s driver permit;
  • Proof of Age card or equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory;
  • A current WA Photo Card;
  • A current NSW Photo Card;
  • A Photo Card issued by any Australian state or Territory similar to the NSW/WA Photo Card.

Patrons under the age of 18 can attend as a day patron (but cannot camp) and must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian AT ALL TIMES (older siblings are not acceptable guardians). The parent/legal guardian attending the festival must complete a Family Welfare Registration form prior to entering the festival to acknowledge that they will remain within 2-3m of their minor at all times, or face eviction from the event without refund.

No refunds or exchanges on any ticket except as required by and/or specified by the Entertainment Industry Code of Fair Practice. Incorrect purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund and are at the discretion of the promoter.

NO "SAME DAY" PASSOUTS for festival patrons (eg. patrons leaving the festival on Saturday may only then return on Sunday if they hold a valid weekend ticket). Special passout conditions apply for campers on Sunday morning. Please refer to the Southbound website for further information.

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL WITHIN THE CAMPGROUND IS NOT PERMITTED. Any camper found in possession of alcohol or found consuming alcohol, will be immediately evicted from the campground and their ticket will be cancelled without refund.

For the safety of campers, once you have parked you may NOT move your vehicle from or within the campground UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES until 6.00AM on Monday 5th January. For full festival and camping terms and conditions, head to www.southboundfestival.com.au.

In purchasing a ticket for Southbound 2015, you are agreeing to the event's terms and conditions of ticket purchase and entry to the festival, which can be read in full here.  For Camping Ticket holders, these terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with the camping terms and conditions which can be read in full here.

** Booking fee and credit card charges will be incurred. There is a maximum 4 ticket limit per person for Southbound. Online booking fee of $3.90 per ticket and 2.5% processing fee of the total ticket price applies for tickets purchased online. extra charges may apply if purchasing via call centre or outlets.
