In Rico Glaciers. The words can conjure either a courageous Antarctic expedition, or, with a bit of imagination, a popular Latin music star. It was chosen as the title of Sons of Rico's sophomore record not only for its pleasing sound but also its humour, which is perfect for an album that has been so scrupulously put together with fun being the ultimate goal.

Working with production guru Magoo (Regurgitator, Art vs Science, Midnight Oil), recording in an old converted church, regular car trips across a mountain, and the elusive hunt for a small town's best 'croc' pie, all traversed to inspire a breadth of sound ideas that shine through on the new record. Led by the infectious first single You Don't Know What You're Missin', In Rico Glaciers will follow on from Sons of Rico's 2010 debut album, Reactions, and its two highly popular singles, This Madness and Miss Adventure.

New single I'm Not Thinkin' About You is a perfect foretaste for the new album, blurring the line between indie and classic rock so much that you'll just take it as a rock of its own. To celebrate the release of this new single and album the band are pleased to announce a national tour through April and May.
