Sydney ambient/melodic post-rockers SLEEPMAKESWAVES have announced a massive national tour for June & July. Taking in 6 states (and 1 territory) the ‘...and so we played everything’ tour will take the band’s epic and climactic live show around the country, in their only headline tour for 2013.

The shows follow a massive 2012, which saw them tour Australia, the US and Europe; and pick up an ARIA nomination for their debut album, "...and so we destroyed everything."

sleepmakeswaves' moving instrumental rock has earned them a dedicated following and supports with major acts including Karnivool, 65daysofstatic and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. Their jam-packed international touring schedule follows the success of their debut album which has been featured on national and international radio including triple j, the BBC and 7 weeks on CMJ's Top 200. It was also named in year-end lists including Drum Media and Sputnik.

Most recently, the band have released a collection of remixes, featuring contributions from 65daysofstatic, Rosetta, Kyson, Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Serious Beak, Atlantis, Glasfrosch and Klue. The album is cheekily titled "...and then they remixed everything" with the remixes from Kyson & 65daysosfstatic featuring on Triple J, FBi, RTR, 4zzz, PBS and community radio nationwide.

The latest remix to hit radio is True Vibe Nation member Klue's funky breakdown of 'to you they are birds, to me they are voices in the forest' which features the epic track converted into a danceable jam.

The aptly titled '...and so we played everything' tour will also see sleepmakeswaves premiering a host of fresh new material, following intense writing sessions over the past few months. With alternating sets each night and a brand new light show, this will be the band's only Australian headline tour of 2013 and comes ahead of further international touring announcements - and then finally, the recording of their much-anticipated second album.
