Western noir singer-songwriter, Rose Zita Falko, launches her debut EP, Original Son, with a vibrant one night only Melbourne show at the Wesley Anne.

Written when living in western Victoria and fuelled by a love of story-telling, the songs reflect stories of loneliness, hope and courage. Original Son is a collection of songs that range from quiet and soulful, to upbeat toe-tapping sing-alongs. There is no archetypal Rose Zita Falko song. Falko's songs 'create their own magical little worlds' - (Charles Jenkins) and they come from a place of dedication to the love of poetry, a love of melody and from a place of trust in the art of improvisation.

Rose Zita Falko will be joined on the stage by five of Melbourne's finest musicians for a performance that will showcase the magical beauty and haunting sophistication of the EP. Special guest, Brooke Russell, whose beautiful rich voice will sway through her well-crafted tunes, will kick off the night.
