Since its emergence in Jamaica and the UK in the '50s, soundsystem culture has massively impacted global musical history far beyond its original Caribbean roots. With a recent Australian resurgence in grandiose, hand-built sound systems crafted by DIY sound engineers, this special workshop hosted by Red Bull Music Academy profiles a pair of local builders responsible for some of the country's best rigs, and explains how they created their epic feats of audio and carpentry engineering.
