Screen printing on paper is easy and fun.Use your hands to create beautiful fine art prints that you can frame and gift to family and friends or hang on your own wall.

Throughout this 6-week course, printmaker Micaela Christie will teach you how to design and create hand cut stencils using scalpel knives, paper, and film. You'll learn about design and colour, mixing inks, how to fix stencils to your screen, registering and overprinting and how to use your screen and squeegee.

Develop your own design ideas and their application to make a series of prints. You'll take home everything you create. You'll finish this course ready to apply the practical processes you've learnt in the studio at home.

Full instruction is provided on materials, products, tools, equipment and studio procedures. Non-toxic processes will be offered wherever possible.
