After a lengthy hibernation, AUS/UK production duo Phondupe will launch 'The Ecstasy Of' singles series at Melbourne's Hugs & Kisses on Thursday 26th November supported by local acts, Orlando Furious, Medium Punch, Civique and Tommy Groves (One PUF) on the 1's & 2's.

The Melbourne show follows a packed-out launch at Sydney's Brighton Up Bar and a support slot for Maribou State (Ninja Tune / UK) at the Oxford Art Factory.

Phondupe is the sonic lovechild of Rich Lucano and Nathan Chan. Stationed in Sydney and London respectively the producers make warped electronica via late-night video chats. Drawing comparisons to Nicolas Jaar and The Range, the outfit takes its live form via Lucano in Australia.

Coming off the back of radio love (KCRW LA, EVR NYC, FBi 94.5) and indie acclaim for past singles (Proxy, Asena) as well as a recent remix by NYC's Durban (Lit City Trax), the last 12 months have seen them perform with the likes of Nosaj Thing, Young Magic, Lolawolf, Friendships and Oscar Key Sung.
