Object Children - Viking teasure 9+ (wk2): winter 2016
Monday 11th & 12th July 2016 9am - 5pm Viking Treasure (Object) 5+ This 2 day workshop will introduce you to metal smithing through learning about Vikings and early medieval history. Learn the basics of metal smithing including soldering, filing, hammering and polishing and make your own Viking jewellery. Day 1 Be inspired by the theme Wondland and Viking culture to create an arm band in brass. Day 2 Make a ring using a Viking symbol of your choice as the setting. Class size: 8 Tutor: Erin Timony BYO lunch, & must wear closed toe shoes. Venue drop off and pick up: Harry Burland Centre 132-134 Shepherd street, Darlington, NSW.
