New Travellers are a rock band that emerged from Melbourne in its first form in early 2010. Their first incarnation as a band was as The Aura Cura in which they released two successful demos and played extensively in the inner-Melbourne band scene, supporting Australian artists including Gyroscope, Closure In Moscow and The Smith Street Band, as well as successful international acts including Kevin Devine, This Town Needs Guns and As Tall As Lions.

In early 2012, The Aura Cura re-formed their sound and line-up, creating NEW TRAVELLERS as they are now. As New Travellers, they have channelled a large variety of musical influences ranging from contemporary acts such as The Killers and Coldplay as well as definitive artists such as Paul Simon, Robert Plant and Queen. With their debut single 'The Visitor', released in April this year, New Travellers have integrated all of their musical experience and energy that they have cultivated over the last 3 years and are now ready to re-introduce themselves with a truly unique sound of their own.
