After a cracking year, "groove-rock-tinged-psych-pop lords" (The Music) Morning Harvey are back again with their second single Susanne Monday from their upcoming and debut album, due out early next year.

Having released their EP love&loveand. in July 2015, performing a national tour in support, wowing audiences at Bigsound, and playing a multitude of shows in between including Groovin' The Moo Townsville, Morning Harvey are consistently reaffirming their well-earned place within Australia's musical landscape, proving a "tour de force of addictive tunes and exemplary musicianship" (The Music).

The young Brisbane band remains one of Australia's hidden gems, and is said to boast one of the country's best live shows: "Overseen by the soulful strains and reliably entertaining, downright sultry, gyration-heavy dances of insanely charismatic frontman Spencer White... The bar has been set high" (The Music).

Adding to Morning Harvey's indisputable swagger, love&loveand. was added as the 2nd highest charting debut EP on America's highly competitive CMJ Radio Chart, earned plays at leading radio stations KCRW and KEXP, as well as a much sought after feature Song of The Day at KEXP.

"Seriously though. You need to be on this now. Out of Brisbane, Australia", John Richards at KEXP.

Having released lead-in single Lights, Camera, Gina back in November 2015, a track which reflected a dynamic and creative shift for the band ("I love this Euro-glam direction that Morning Harvey have taken, they've really struck upon something here. 4.5 Stars" - Dave Ruby-Howe), Morning Harvey is now releasing their second single Susanne Monday.

Susanne Monday is a killer catchy track that doubles as a subtle socio-cultural critique, one that takes a loose inspiration from bearing witness to absurd behaviour, whether it be on social media or in public, as writer Spencer White comments on the increasingly prevalent vanity that seems to dictate our modern world. Albeit a keen observation, Susanne Monday remains a seriously contagious sing-along track which, to no surprise, will inevitably run on repeat in your head for days.

In support of their new single, Morning Harvey will be hitting the road in September for the following dates:

PRAISE FOR MORNING HARVEY

"The entire EP is a healthy mix of fizzy guitars, haunting vocals and lyrical themes evoking some deeply pleasant introspection. Sonically, it's The Stone Roses and Soundgarden drinking a cup of mushroom tea" (Howl & Echoes)

"Nobody puts Morning Harvey into a corner, rather a psychedelic pigeonhole" (The AU Review)

"Morning Harvey are a band to relish... Singer Spencer White is irresistible, wielding a voice of blissful serenity and power. Everything about this band feels empowering, from their skilful playing to their enamouring sense of self. I think it's safe to say, we've found our new musical obsession" (Bitter Sweet Symphonies)
