STRAWBERRY FIELDS & MY AEON PRESENT
LEFTFEILD UK (DJ SET)
TRONIK YOUTH UK (NEIN RECORDS LABEL PARTY)

To say Leftfield contributed to dance music's prominence in todays modern society is an understatement. Leftfield are so cheerfully anonymous that few of the million buyers of their albums would even recognise them if they stumbled into their local pub in Coburg.

Simply put, they are one of the most prolific electronic music groups of all time.

As with many of their contemporaries, such as the Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy, Leftfield were "the single most influential production outfit working in British dance music" - Mixmag.

Despite six Top 40 hits, a number one album, and two Mercury Music Prize nominations, their music maintains a dark, brooding, and often a menacing brand of alternative electronica that is impossible to categorise under any genre.

They will make a very special appearance on Saturday 26 November for a once in a lifetime intimate show at My Aeon.

Also featuring on the night will be Tronik Youth, label owner to one of the most current and influential imprints in the world right now 'NEIN Records' - home to the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Rodion, Hardway Bros, Man Power, Fairmont, Craig Bratley, Ivan Smagghe, Mark E, Emperor Machine, Heretic, Posthuman, Inigo Vontier, Daniele Baldelli, Factory Floor, and Duncan Gray.

As a DJ Tronik Youth, is as proficient as he is diverse; whether it's tripped out mid tempo chug, post-balearic indie nu disco, drugged out synthy funky hypnotic music, techno or any shade of house, he is truly a benchmark DJ who isn't afraid to take risks.

This is an Australian exclusive NEIN label party which will take place in Room Two, and will also be the official record launch for Melbourne's own No. 1 Delicious' "Lost in St. Louis" EP and Stockholm Syndrome's two upcoming singles, 'Zombie & 'Drowning' - all of which will be released in November on NEIN.
