The intriguingly named Jenny Broke The Window are back. After spending the last two years writing and gigging, JBTW have recorded their debut single with a little help from acclaimed music producer Tony Buchen (Alberts Music - Washington, The Preatures).

In their debut release 'Ravel' the four piece have layered a new dimension onto the sound of their early demos, resulting in a mature and international sounding composition. JBTW admire bands like The Drums, The Maccabees and Mystery Jets, which is felt subtly in this indie pop gem 'Ravel'.

'Ravel' is a track which reflects the honesty and purity of youth and its deterring aspects of growing up. This is wrapped up in the lyrics at the end of they track as they chant "we were the honest ones, caught up in this lying world."

The single artwork was created by Jack Toohey - a promising young Sydney photographer who JBTW have always admired. The shot captured is reminiscent of an idyllic summers day from yesteryear. The muted colours and retro hues wraps up 'Ravel' perfectly. Jack Toohey - http://www.jacktoohey.com/
