IGN is proud to bring you the first ever Black Beta Select Awards, powered by Mountain Dew!

2012 was an amazing year for video games, and to celebrate the year that was, we're throwing the biggest, boldest Black Beta ever!

Yes, on February 1st we'll be holding the inaugural Black Beta Select Awards in Sydney's Darling Harbour. We'll be giving out 11 awards - as voted by you - for the Best Games of 2012, so come along and have a drink with us, our friends and partners and revisit some of the most memorable titles of 2012.

That's not all, however. You'll also be able to go hands-on with some of the hottest games on the horizon in 2013. Plus, there'll be a dedicated Wii U area, so if you haven't checked out Nintendo's latest system yet, this is your chance.

Tickets are free and limited to one per person so forwarding or sharing barcodes will void admission. You must supply the name, email address, company name and job title of each individual attendee at the time of registration- no more than one ticket can be registered per name.

You must be over 18 and bring photo ID as alcohol will be served.
