Good Boy

Now in their second year as a band, Good Boy have already released their second EP, Plum. Recorded with Cam Smith at Incremental Records (Velociraptor, Deafcult) and mixed and mastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Supression Ring, Dick Diver), the new EP is a evolution on the sound of their first release. Lead single "Poverty Line" is a 3 minute 30 second exploration of what it is to be a young person living in Australia at the moment; living below the poverty line, where cost of living gets higher but wages stay the same. "Millie" is the heartbreaking story of burying a beloved family dog and "Ya Mum's Ya Dad" is a cutting criticism of everyday life in Australia with possibly the lyric of the year; "Just wanna lead a normal life. Have a couple of kids, have a couple of wives."

VACATIONS

Vacations are the local sweethearts of Newcastle, their take on guitar pop music has won over a devoted fanbase in their hometown, and overseas. A part of the No-Fi music/arts scene in Newcastle, Vacations are no strangers to wild house parties, packed out rooms, and nation-wide tours where they've earned their stripes performing live. This has lead them to support bands like Hockey Dad, Skegss, Dappled Cities, The Gooch Palms, and play festivals like Mountain Sounds.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen started when Sarah Sykes invited Alexander McDonald and Hugo Levingston over for a jam. She was too scared to show her songs (or idea for a band name) to anyone else. Through the Summer of 2016 the trio wrote their first songs in Sarah's sweaty Newtown garage. Fast-forward to 2017, and Sunscreen are ready to deliver ultimate UV protection for the skin and emotions. Prepare for something very special when they hit the stage, just for you.
