Delve deeper into the creative minds with a Q & A session hosted by DJ House Shoes. Now you know the theory, enjoy the practice with a blood pumping, base thumping DJ set from the influential DJ House Shoes (US). 

Artist Bio:
One of Detroit Cities Hip-Hop Ambassadors to the World, DJ House Shoes has been an integral part of the long burgeoning Motown resurgence. Ask the people coming out of Detroit and they will confirm this.

House Shoes, a resident DJ at the hip-hop iconic Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit from 1994-2004, has had personal influence over a full generation of emcees, producers, and then-future-DJs.

Shoes has toured extensively with Hip-Hop acts such as Mayer Hawthorne, Percee P, Guilty Simpson, and Aloe Blacc to name a few, as well as delivering stand-out shows of his own.

As a producer House Shoes has worked with some of Detroit s elite musicians and emcees to help contribute to the soundtrack of his city. Proof of his popularity and influence can be found with his 60,000+ subscribers to his Podcasts (shoeshouse.podomatic.com). Currently House Shoes lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Constantly Dj ing at events and parties from LA to Europe to Australia, Shoes is revered as a world class producer and DJ.

Documentary Bio:
All Ears, produced by Gus Sutherland is a documentary focusing on the famous Beat scene of Los Angeles. The documentary debuted earlier in the year at SXSW, and there have been no announcements of future screenings until now!

Low End Theory is an experimental hip-hop and electronic music movement and the LA is often credited as it s the birthplace of this worldwide movement. All Ears offers an insight into the minds of some of the producers responsible for this thriving scene featuring interviews with artists such as dak, Ras G, Sacred, Kutmah, Dibia$e, House Shoes, DJ Nobody and many more. All Ears also looks at the network of record labels, collectives and events that have formed a united community that is continuing to grow and diversify, and offers reflection on the impact of the scene s two most notable figures, Madlib and the late J Dilla.
