Iconic Australian outfit Hoodoo Gurus join the Zoo Twilights line-up in 2017, bringing their memorable pop-rock hits to the Twilights stage for the first time.

Multi-ARIA Award winners Hoodoo Gurus formed in Sydney after a New Years Eve party on January 1, 1981 to play their first ever 'show' in an inner city lounge room. In the 36 years since, the band has released nine albums, four of those reaching the Top 10 on the ARIA Charts, and achieving four Gold album certifications, two Platinum album certifications and 3x Platinum certification of their revered sophomore album Mars Needs Guitars! (1985). The group has charted all around the world, with their first four albums reaching #1 on the US College Charts, and they have frequently toured throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Brazil, plus curated and headlined the wildly successful Dig It Up national tour in 2011 and 2012. The band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007, and was cited as "one of the most inventive, lyrically smart and exciting rock'n'roll bands Australia has ever produced... along the way they've influenced an entire generation of bands."

Hoodoo Gurus will play Zoo Twilights in support of Zoos Victoria and their fight to save the Eastern Barred Bandicoot from extinction.
