Hey Geronimo are thrilled to announce their 'BRAVE NEW WORLD' tour, spanning Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney throughout June and July. Having spent the Australian summer working on their forthcoming sophomore album - the follow-up to 2016's CRASHING INTO THE SUN - Hey Geronimo are all set to unveil an ambitious and radical departure from their live shows of the past.

Straying from their traditional rock-n-roll roots, the show focuses heavily on a quasi-futuristic aesthetic, featuring projected visuals and a performance that reflects a shift in theme of the band's music.

The announcement of the 'BRAVE NEW WORLD' tour follows the release of Hey Geronimo's latest single, "Bad Citizen", a track that shouts a frantic message of warning over distorted guitars, bombastic drums and paranoid synths. Front-man Pete Kilroy reflects on the cause for alarm in the current politically charged climate, where digital platforms create echo-chambers of truth which are hard to escape.

"We're endlessly fascinated in how advances of technology are changing society for the better and the worse. Bad Citizen reflects the idea that some of this change can potentially be negative. It's not an original idea, but the reality is that we really are living in a new age of alternative facts, doublethink, reduced privacy and the potential for unprecedented surveillance. We're not doomsayers by any means, but we feel it's na ve to think that Orwell's future, while not probably, certainly is possible."
