Off the back of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut EP, Brisbane party starters Hey Geronimo are pleased to announce the ‘Special Best Tour’, their first national headlining tour which will kick off this September.

The talented five-piece which includes band members Pete Kilroy, Greg Chiapello, Ross Pearson, Andrew Stone and Tony Garrett - have quickly built a loyal following thanks to their smash singles "Why Don't We do Something?" and "Carbon Affair" - two massive indie-pop anthems which have seen their ridiculously catchy, slacker tinged pop - dominate the airwaves and international blogosphere for the past few months.

Working with acclaimed producers Matt Redlich (Hungary Kids of Hungary, Emma Louise, Ball Park Music) and Magoo (Custard, Regurgitator) to produce the five perfectly crafted tracks of hand clappin', foot tappin' goodness on their debut release - the heaped praise and glowing reviews quickly started rolling in for the indie-pop outfit.

With a live show bursting with infectious energy and the killer party vibes which are fast becoming Hey Geronimo trademarks, don't miss one of the country's most promising acts as they tear up stages across the nation on the 'Special Best Tour', joined by special guests The Griswolds. Fans can also catch Hey Geronimo as they pop up at a slew of festivals this summer.

With a third single, "Dreamboat Jack" due for release later this year - Hey Geronimo's hit-laden debut EP could very well be in danger of becoming a soundtrack to summer.

"This is what happy sounds like; pure, unpretentious and highly enjoyable guitar-pop." The Brag

"Hey Geronimo play addictively-catchy, hook-laden pop-rock, and bring the summery good times and positive vibes by the truckload on this debut EP." mX

"Hey Geronimo have the perfect soundtrack to inject some happy vibes into a dull day." Alternative Media Group

"If I was making a summer mixtape for the months ahead, this would make the cut." Richard Kingsmill, triple j

Why Don't We Do Something? A catchy, summery, super bright, beach-worthy tune if I ever heard one."Nick Findlay, triple j
