Hemingway are embarking on their first tour of Eastern Australia in support of their debut E.P "Carnival Of Freaks" (out May 28) with special guests SuperKaleida in tow and are set to rock The Rad in Woolongong on May 30. Hemingway and Superkaleida are joined by local boys Mac Tango to finalise one night of energetic mayhem that will not want to be missed.
Hemingway are a 4 piece fusion of Alternative, Reggae and Pop that combine Wailing vocals with skillful guitar work that melds the energy of the 70's with the shimmer of modern music to firmly grasp the audiences attention and never let go until the last note is hit. Hemingway's unrelenting vocal melodies captivate the audience through their unique approach to a genre so flogged in cliche's and mediocrity combined with lyrical type guitar hooks that you will sing as clearly as a vocal chorus on the ride home.
Hemingway are coming to show the larger community what they have to offer with an "all guns blazing" attitude.
SuperKaleida are the kings of rocking hard punk funk. Bringing funk styling's and punk edge to the Brisbane scene, genre smasher's, and hard to pin, their show is bound to rock you to the core as guitar grooves and sick beats pervade the air, a sound that can go from soft to heavy to funky in one moment. They believe a musical experience goes far beyond the music itself, promising to capture the attention of everyone in their respective audience's and leave them dumbfounded.
Mac Tango! A mind mellowing roots and groove with a smooth, sexy blend of alternative funk and soul. The music is head boppin', foot tappin' and butt clappin'.
