"Guitars gently weep" is a live show bringing together the songs that defined Paul McCartney & Eric Clapton.
Paul McCartney is THE MOST SUCCESSFUL SONGWRITER OF ALL TIME..according to the Guinness book of world records. Responsible for redefining pop music and pop culture in the 60s with The Beatles. His song "Yesterday" is the most covered song of all time, with more than 2200 recorded versions. He also went on to have hit songs with "Wings" including the classic James Bond Theme "Live & let die" and 2 hit songs with Michael Jackson including "The Girl is mine" which appeared on 'Thriller'.. the highest selling album of all time! In total he has been responsible for 37 #1 singles!
Eric Clapton is THE ONLY 3 time inductee into the Rock n Roll hall of fame... as a solo artist, with Cream & with The Yardbirds. He is also the only guitarist to ever play on the solo albums of all 4 Beatles members as well as a Beatles song ("While my guitar gently weeps") . He is one of the most influential and important guitarists in the world, listed as #2 on Rolling stones 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
"Guitars gently weep" is a live show bringing together the songs that defined each artist as a performer and songwriter, from Clapton's classics such as "Sunshine of your love", "Layla", "Tears in heaven" to McCartney's work with The Beatles & Wings such as "Hey Jude", "Let it be", "Band on the run" and more.
The band is lead by Jay Parrino who was a finalist of Australia's Got Talent in 2009. Jay's version of "Land down under" by Men at work has become the #1 most viewed cover of this iconic aussie anthem, generating over 5 million hits on youtube. His cover of "Run to Paradise" by the Choirboys also achieved the same accolade, becoming the most viewed cover of this tune, and earning him the oppurtunity to sing and play guitar with The Choirboys as part of their ACDC tribute show. Jay was also invited to perform a special St Pats day tribute on channel 7s "The Morning show" doing a unique version of U2's "With or without you" and he also appeared on The Voice in 2016.
The band also features Bobby Poulton on bass & vocals, who recently finished a nationwide tour with Australia's Eurovision songstress and X Factor winner Dami Im. He also performs every Monday with Frankie's House band who feature a rotating line up of special guests each week including members of Kiss, Noiseworks & Thin Lizzy to name a few.

Brett Williams on lead guitar. Best known as the guitarist for legendary Aussie band "The Choirboys" and his famous iconic lead guitar work on "Run to Paradise" which was the 8th highest selling single of the 1980s in Australia.
Fabrizio Omodei on drums who has performed with The Angels, Damien Lieth, Shannon Noll, Richard Clapton.
On keys is Sam Walton who has toured the globe entertaining the troops and military personnel in Cyprus, Dubai, Jordan, Belize, Germany and Afghanistan.
