After stunning audiences during his visit earlier in 2015, Californian rapper G-EAZY returns to Australia this March to celebrate the release of his stellar, second studio album, When It's Dark Out.

G-Eazy left home to study music at New Orleans' Loyola University at 18-years-old, cultivating his own inimitable style. For the budding artist, partying wasn't nearly as important as writing, his unwavering focus leading to a series of buzz-generating mixtapes, culminating in his 2011 breakout, Endless Summer.

With the release of Endless Summer, G-Eazy garnered attention from the underground and mainstream in equal measure. MTV nominated him for "Best Music On Campus," while he played to packed houses opening for superstars such as Drake and Lil Wayne.

Diploma in hand, the rapper hit 2012 running. During that summer's Warped Tour, he produced, wrote, and recorded what would become his full-length debut, Must Be Nice. Blending elegant production with airtight flow, the self-released album debuted at #3 on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart.

2013 saw G-Eazy complete his first headline tour, selling out shows across the US, from New York to San Francisco. In the wake of the tour's overwhelming success, hype continued to grow around the young rapper, with Paste Magazine naming him in their top artists to watch in 2013 and Lil Wayne hand-selecting him for the America's Most Wanted Festival tour.

Debuting at #1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, G-Eazy's These Things Will Happen galvanized his position as a major new voice in American rap. Featuring guest appearances from the likes of A$AP Rocky and E-40, the record drew praise for its purposeful lyricism and meticulous production.

Now, the Californian prepares to unleash When It's Dark Out (out through RCA Records) on December 4. "I hope to connect with people," he concludes. "If the music inspires someone, that's incredible. It's about a deeper relationship with the listener that hopefully lasts a long time. You're with me now."
