Anomie

It's no wonder many confuse Anomie and Sofie Loizou for being two completely different producers/DJs, so prolific are both. In music scenes dominated by testosterone and male bravado, Anomie (aka Sofie Loizou) has worked hard to become a serious force to be reckoned with. Bringing together beautifully nuanced electronics with forward-thinking dancefloor sensibilities and a polished live presence that's impressed the likes of The Gaslamp Killer, Flying Lotus, Low End Theory, Teebs, Jeremiah Jae and Theo Parrish.   A classically trained musician, composer, producer and media artist, Anomie's past has many highlights including as a long-time presenter of 2SER's Shadows Of Tomorrow beats show; a Red Bull Music Academy graduate; a highlight at Croatia's Outlook, Barcelona's Sonar and the Netherlands' Gogbot festivals; and revered performer at Stereosonic, St Jerome's Laneway, Sub Sonic and Peats Ridge. Bass music pulses through Anomie's veins and, since her debut EP in 2010, with everyone from Resident Advisor describing her as "wonderful" to Tokimonsta as "amazing" and triple j as "E A R W O R M Y." Jake Walker

Exploring outside the Reactionary alter ego that Wollongong fans may know him by, Jake will be presenting dance-oriented house cuts from labels such as Night Slugs, Sound Pellegrino and Hot Haus Recs. One third of the Four4 collective, Jake is a versatile Wollongong-based DJ melding both four-to-the-floor rhythms and drum machine workouts.    

Disquette 83 Disquette 83 is a two part collaboration between Aaron Hull and Mark Havryliv. Both have strong connections to underground music in Australia as performers and promoters, and together will be presenting dark, deep cuts for the dance floor enthusiast. They craft catastrophic builds and implement both live instrumentation and raw samples in their performances. The result is an uncompromising delivery of music across a variety of genres for the dance floor. At home in a small dark club or a large warehouse. Prepare to party.
