Encompassing everything from high school jocks’ existential crises to literal popularity contests, the teen film genre is as vast and deep as the pool from Cruel Intentions. An essay dedicated to the decade between the releases of Clueless (1995) and Mean Girls (2004), Beyond Clueless is a love letter to the teen film genre, soundtracked by UK pop darlings Summer Camp and narrated by the spookiest witch in the coven Fairuza Balk (The Craft). Rooftop Cinema is proud to host the Australian premiere screening of Beyond Clueless, co-presented by Filmme Fatales.
