'A stunning album, brilliant...I rate these guys as one of the best duos on the planet', Mike Harding, BBC.

BULLHORN (Australia)

An acoustic force of nature with a line-up including seven horn players, one drummer and one monster MC. Their sound is born from a mix of hard hitting hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, reggae and dance music.

DEVON SPROULE (USA)

Devon Sproule's music welcomes the magical and the tangible. It celebrates human complication in the language of nature. Her quirky affectations bring to mind Bjork, and forays into the dark, Michelle Shocked." (Village Voice)

FASTA (Ireland)

"This is Irish Music with a Quebecois Twist at its very, very best," Mike Harding.

Blending the traditional music of Quebec and Ireland with beauty, groove and
affinity, Fasta have delighted audiences across Europe, Canada and Australasia with their deep love and intimacy for their respective musical traditions.

THE BEEZ (Germany)

German folk meets Balkan gypsy mixed with bluegrass, pop and TexMex. The Beez famous "Sitzdisco" (dancing while seated) and "Moshpitzen" (mosh pitting) will have you enthralled at the margins of zany Berlin cabaret.

JARON FREEMAN-FOX and THE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING (Canada)

Limitlessly creative and playful, The Opposite of Everything dances down a line between the beautiful and the absurd, transforming Freeman-Fox's intricate violin compositions into an infectious party. Winners of three Canadian Folk Music Awards, the ensemble features Toronto's finest and most adventurous musicians.

THINGS OF STONE AND WOOD (Australia)

Back when grunge bands and electric guitars ruled the air waves a rag-tag bunch of folkies got together and formed a band called Things of Stone and Wood that went on to define Melbourne in the early 90s.

"Melbourne's most inspired and inspiring acoustic band." (Michael Dwyer).

TIN PAN ORANGE (Australia)

Critically acclaimed Melbourne indie-folk darlings Tinpan Orange enter their tenth year as one of Australia's most loved brother-sister outfits. With the ethereal and mesmerising Emily Lubitz at the helm, joined by her brother, guitarist Jesse Lubitz and violin virtuoso Alex Burkoy, Tinpan Orange's 60s inspired folk has a melancholy, candid and somewhat playful edge.

TONY MCMANUS and BEPPE GAMBETTA (Scotland/Italy)

Tony McManus is the world's undisputed greatest Celtic guitar player. Beppe Gambetta is one of Europe's hottest flatpickers. Between them these two brilliant musicians have played all the major guitar festivals from the Hebrides to Connemara and from Bogota to Tokyo not forgetting appearances at The Chet Atkins Festival and the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
