Drawing Children - nature study 5+ (tue): autumn 2017
Fun 1 day drawing workshop for kids to learn basic drawing techniques.
18 April 2017, 9am - 5pm
In this fascinating 1 day drawing workshop with artist Jane Caveney kids will learn about the earths amazing flora and fauna up close through 19th century artist and biologist Ernst Haeckel colourful hyper real illustrations.
The workshop will focus on hands-on instruction in how to draw starting with basic shapes and finishing their artwork in full colour. The day will include projects to support learning including drawing micro views, detail and beautiful textures.
They will get to take home a bundle of drawings and water colour paintings that they have completed on the day.
All materials are provided.
Suitable for children 5-8 years old
Maximum 10 children
Bring: Lunch, morning and afternoon tea and a water bottle
Wear: Old clothes
