Two years ago on Sunday June 9, 2012 - Funf and Darkbeat threw 2 separate parties on the same night - Jeff Mills at The Bottom End (Funf) and John Digweed at The Prince Of Wales (Darkbeat 10th Birthday). Both attracted well over 2,500 people combined. The success and vibe of these two separate parties on two different sides of Melbourne triggered fond memories of the golden years of Melbourne's dance music scene from the early 2000's; where parties were done for the love, DJ's played longer than 3 hours, promoter incompetence and greed didn't hinder those trying to run a rave for the right reasons, and punters left with a smile on their dial from an amazing night out.

Now, the two party entities join forces again to bring one of the biggest line ups you are likely to see in Melbourne for a very long time.

Surviving 12 years in the Melbourne dance music industry is definitely an admirable achievement. The manner is which Darkbeat has positioned itself as one of Melbourne's premier underground event promoters is testament to their commitment and passion for providing cutting edge events year after year.

Flying Circus started life out of Miami, Florida, 7 years ago as the brainchild of Audiofly and has grown to host some fantastic parties around the world ever since. They have hosted events at institutions such as Amnesia, and more recently held a beautiful New Years party in Tulum, Mexico. Now they bring their all star line up to Australia for their 1 year anniversary.
