Returning from their fourth triumphant tour overseas in the past 18 months, Melbourne three-piece riff rockers, Dallas Frasca are set to celebrate their international successes and unleash their explosive new single and video, You Are Beautiful.

The new single and accompanying video addresses the controversial topic of 'body image'; how it is portrayed by the media and perceived in society. Dallas' unapologetic vocals lead the procession in this modern day protest song, sending out a message loud and clear, calling for self-acceptance and positive change. Matched by the colossal guitar tones of Jeff Curran, You Are Beautiful is packed with punch and plenty of heart, entering exciting new territory for the band whilst staying true to their heavy rock roots. The accompanying video, due for release mid October, is set to raise a few eyebrows. The concept; to portray and empower a diverse spectrum of body-types in their natural, naked state. A confronting idea for some, so when Dallas Frasca put the call out for willing participants over social media, she was overwhelmed by the response.

When speaking of the video, Dallas said, "You will see the diversity in the people who believe in the message and are in the clip. We all got our kit off for the cause and we hope this song will inspire people to be more aware of what they are reading and to feel beautiful the way you are." The power-trio will celebrate the first single off their forthcoming album Love Army (due early 2015) with the announcement of a 20-date Australian national tour, welcoming the latest addition, young gun drummer Josh Eales.

You Are Beautiful was recorded by New York-based, Australian producer Andy Baldwin (Chrissie Amphlett, The Living End, Bjork) via a new application, allowing him to receive a direct live 'real time' feed of the sound from the studio. This enabled Baldwin to produce the record from the comforts of his Rola Pola Studios in Brooklyn, while the band recorded at Woodstock Studios in Melbourne with Richard Stolz.

The trio recorded their award-winning single All My Love with Andy Baldwin in 2012. It came third in the International Songwriting Competition and was re-recorded by 18-year-old 'Lenny', who had a ten top hit with the song.  In February 2014, the band raised $22,000 through a successful crowdfunding initiative to help record the new album, Love Army. As soon as funds hit the band's account, they went straight back into the studio to begin work on the record. Unfortunately, just prior to completion, the band lost a member due to family commitments. Spurred on by pure determination, they returned again from Europe in August and recruited King Of The North's drummer, Danny Leo for the job. The band spent weeks locked up in their Melbourne HQ, reworking the songs and writing many more before hitting Woodstock Studios to finish the single.

They've supported an impressive number of rock heavyweights in recent times, including Patti Smith, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aerosmith, Billy Joel and Van Halen, as well as receiving a tip of the infamous top hat from Slash himself, "great vocals, riffs and groove" (Guns N Roses). Now, after a remarkable year of collaborations with the likes of Ugly Kid Joe's front man, Whitfield Crane and Sevendust's guitarist, Sonny Mayo, Dallas Frasca are proud to announce the first single release from their forthcoming album, Love Army.
