I Forget, Sorry! is proud to announce that CHANCE WATERS is hitting the road this April and May for the “A Transit Officer Beat Up My Brother So I Wrote A Funny Song About Him” tour in support of his upcoming single ‘The Ticket Inspector’, with very special guest Brendan Maclean.

'The Ticket Inspector' will be the latest taste from Chance Water's forthcoming album, due out in 2014 on Island Records. The single follows recent triple j favourite "Bonnie" (feat. The Griswolds) and is an extremely infectious, snarky tune capturing Chance's trademark sarcastic wit and combining elements of pop and hip hop with a dash of doo wop and dub. The song and tour are a love song dedication to a very special authority figure and his run in with Chance's brother.

Chance Waters has been labeled an "intelligent lyricist and a masterful storyteller" (The Australian) and "one of Australia's brightest" (The AU Review). His highly acclaimed sophomore album Infinity (2012) was a staple on record players across the country, securing two separate entries in triple j's Hottest 100 with "Young & Dumb" feat. Bertie Blackman (#45) and "Maybe Tomorrow" (#89).

The "A Transit Officer Beat Up My Brother So I Wrote A Funny Song About Him" tour will see Chance perform his highly celebrated set at venues down the East Coast and Adelaide, with very special guest Brendan Maclean coming along for the ride.
