Event Details

Black Cab launch their soundtrack album, Akira at Howler, Friday 18th August. Inspired by classic Japanese new wave anime and manga, the band will perform pieces from the album with live Japanese taiko drumming from wadaiko master, Toshi Sakamoto. The new album mixes dark electronica, found sounds and walls of taiko drums to evoke a cinematic journey into the dark heart of Japanese sci-fi anime.

Special guest performances from Toshi Sakamoto and Simona.
