Motez is many things. At the beginning of 2014, he was named In The Mix' #1 'Next Big Thing' and by December titled Stoney Roads 'Producer of the Year', with full support followed from BBC-R1, triple j, and Dancing Astronaut, while earning the attention of dudes like Gorgon City, Justin Martin, Destructo and Flume, who named Motez as one of his most excited artists alongside Ta-ku and Wave Racer.

'Down Like This' is the first single from 'The Vibe' EP featuring rap-queen Tkay Maidza and has received nods of approval from triple j and BBC-R1 dance figureheads Annie Mac, Phil Taggert and Richard Kingsmill. The four-track EP is due late April and along with the Tkay Maidza collab, it will include tracks with West London grime MC Scruffizer and Australian house export Wax Motif.
