Formed in San Francisco in 1990, The Brian Jonestown Massacre (BJM) named their band in tribute to the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist and his influence in introducing Eastern culture and music into the world of Western rock and roll.

Australian audiences need no introduction to BJM or to their enigmatic musical director, Anton Newcombe. The kings of mind-expanding, hypnotic psych rock, BJM have been creating their own musical path since coming together in 1990. With an extensive back catalogue of incredible music to reference and reinterpret, no two BJMlive shows are ever the same. This November will see Newcombe and his band play exclusive shows in Australasia as part of the 25 Years-The Silver Jubilee Tour 2015, performing current songs from the last few years along with older songs that have never been played live before.

To coincide with BJM's Australian tour they will release a Limited Edition Numbered Vinyl (double gate fold) 10" EP called the bjm mini album of all new songs, to be sold from venues only.  A collector's item that all dedicatedBJM fans won't want to miss out on!

Since the band's last visit to Australia in 2013 they have released their 14th album, Revelation,  to critical acclaim. It was the first full-length album fully recorded and produced by Anton Newcombe in his recording studio in Berlin and released on his label A recordings. April this year saw the release of Musique de film imagin -music for an imaginary French film, a soundtrack paying homage to the great European directors of the late '50s and '60s.
