Berlin based Bonaparte is the brainchild of Swiss producer and songwriter Tobias Jundt - an eclectic wall of energy composed of romantic garage-punk guitars, mouldy analogue synthesizers, your grandma's favourite drum-beat and a spread of secretive wordplay. Jundt emerged from the party-capital's underground club-culture in 2006, released 5 albums of handmade wild electro'n'roll gems and has since been on a perpetual tour around the world. witness BONAPARTE's first and exclusive Australian performance at Oxford Art Gallery in Sydney - the creator of Berlin underground anthems such as "Too Much", "Anti Anti" or "Computer in Love" will visit down under for a rare and intimate solo set. also on the bill are local hotshots SMAAL CATS & SWORDS.
