How do I offer my Splendour in the Grass ticket for Resale?

To offer your Splendour in the Grass tickets for resale go to www.moshtix.com.au and select the ‘Join/Sign in’ button on the navigation bar at the top of the page.


Enter the email address you used when you purchased your tickets and also your password and click on Sign in.


Once you have logged into your account go to the Manage Tickets section, find your Splendour in the Grass 2019 tickets, and select the RESELL button.


Follow the steps on this page to offer your unwanted tickets for resale. Be extremely careful to select the correct ticket as this CAN'T BE CHANGED later on.

Please note: You do not need to use the same credit card to pay for the resale fee that you used to purchase your Splendour in the Grass tickets.


Read through the Terms and Conditions carefully and once you are certain you understand those select the check box ‘Accept’.


Once your payment has been processed you will receive a confirmation notice on screen, and you will also be sent an email invoice/confirmation.


You will notice the status of your ticket will now have changed to 'Pending Resale'.

If your ticket is purchased by another person, you will receive an email outlining the refund amount that will be placed back onto the card used for the original purchase.

Your ticket status will also update to ‘RESOLD TICKET'.


If you would like to take your ticket(s) back from the Splendour in the Grass Resale, you can now do so by logging into your Moshtix account and selecting the ‘Cancel Resale’ option.

Once you have selected this option you will need to select the tickets you no longer wish to list on Resale


Once removed from resale your tickets will be available via your account. To check the status of your ticket, login to your Moshtix account and got to the ‘Manage Tickets’ section.

All requests will be processed automatically and the ticket will be valid for use at the event. Once you remove your tickets from resale this cannot be undone.

The $30 resale administration fee will be refunded to your account within 14 business days.



What if I’m not the original purchaser?
Tickets can only be offered for resale by the original purchaser of the tickets. If you are a ticket holder and wish to offer your ticket for resale, you will need to arrange the resale of your ticket with the original purchaser of the tickets whose Moshtix account was used for the purchase.

If I’ve used Time To Pay, can I resell my ticket?
If you have used Time To Pay and are currently paying in installments, you WILL NOT be able to list your tickets for resale until your order has been paid in full. You may pay your order in full early by contacting Moshtix ticket support on 1300 438 849.

I put my Event/Camping ticket up for resale, how do I know if it's been sold?
Tickets are sold in the order they were listed for sale, and it will move up the queue depending on demand. We are unable to predict when there will be high or low demand, but please just keep an eye on the 'Status' of the ticket through your Moshtix account. You can check the status of your tickets offered for resale by logging in to your Moshtix account, and viewing your tickets.

Ticket Statuses:
Valid - Your ticket is valid for entry and has not been listed for resale or reissued.
Pending Resale - Your request to resell your ticket has been received and your ticket is waiting to be purchased by another buyer.
Resold Ticket - Your ticket has now been resold to another fan. Your initial purchase will refunded back to the credit card you used to originally purchase your ticket, less fees, and your ticket is no longer valid for use.

You will be notified via email once your ticket has been resold and purchased by another customer. You will also receive a refund notification via email, however, the funds may take 5 business days to appear on your credit card statement used for the purchase.

Can I nominate a friend to purchase my unwanted ticket?
Sellers cannot nominate a preferred purchaser. Resale tickets are sold in the order they were listed for sale, and it will move up the queue depending on demand.

Why can't I sell my tickets anywhere, like on Viagogo, eBay or Gumtree?
Your ticket has your name and date of birth on it, which means it is strictly non-transferable to another person. Any ticket sold by any means other than Moshtix Official Ticket Resale Facility will be invalid for use as the name of the ticket holder will not match the Moshtix database. Name changes or reissues are not available for this event. Tickets resold, or offered for resale, in an unauthorised manner may also result in all tickets in the order being cancelled without refund, along with all ticket holders will being refused entry to the venue. This includes tickets offered for resale via online sites such as Viagogo, eBay or Gumtree.

What does the Ticket Resale Facility service cost?
The resale administration fee of $30 upfront and the original service fees you originally paid. You will be charged a resale administration fee of $30 per ticket upfront. If your ticket is then sold through Moshtix your ticket will be cancelled and the original amount paid for the ticket, less original service fees will be refunded to the credit card used for the original purchase. You will be notified via email once the refund for a resold ticket has been processed.

When do I get my money back?
Refunds are not guaranteed and you will only get your money back if your ticket is purchased by another fan. Until they are re-sold, the tickets remain your property and no funds are owed to you. If your ticket gets purchased by another fan, we will refund the original ticket price (less service fees) to the original credit card used to purchase. Should your ticket remain unsold at the end of the resale period, the ticket remains valid for your use by the original ticket holder, and the $30 resale administration fee will be refunded to your credit card. Please note this may take up to 14 business days for the funds to appear on the credit card used for the resale administration fee payment.  

What if my credit card has expired or been cancelled since the original purchase?
If your credit card has been cancelled or expired since you originally purchased the tickets you will receive an email asking you to contact Moshtix Ticket Support. Ticket Support will ask for your bank details and will arrange a manual refund into your bank account. This can take up to 2 weeks for the refund to be processed.

I paid $3 to offset by Carbon footprint. Can I resell my Carbon Offset along with my event ticket?
No, one cannot resell their carbon offset donation. 

Can I resell my Vehicle Passes?
No. Vehicle Passes are not eligible for the Ticket Resale Facility. The Ticket Resale Facility is for Event and Camping tickets ONLY. 

What happens if my tickets don't sell?
If your ticket remains unsold after the end of the resale period midnight AEST Wednesday 17 July 2019, the ticket remains valid and is deemed the property of the original ticket holder, who will still be able to use the ticket should they still be able attend the festival. In this instance, the resale administration fee paid will be refunded to the credit card used for this resale service charge. This can take up to 14 business days. Splendour in the Grass ticket/s is not refundable unless purchased by another fan, so any ticket refund is not guaranteed.

Can I sell the tickets at a discount if I want to make sure they sell?
No. Tickets are only offered for resale at face value.

How far in advance of the event / how close to the event can I resell tickets?
Those intending to offer their unwanted event and/or camping tickets for SALE may do so from 9am AEST Friday 10 May until midnight AEST Sunday 30 June 2019, however we encourage you to list your unwanted tickets for resale as early as possible, to ensure the best possible chance of having them sold before the end of the resale period.  

Those wanting to BUY a ticket have the opportunity to do so, subject to availability, from 9am AEST Monday 13 May until midnight AEST Wednesday 17 July 2019 at www.moshtix.com.au. We are unable to predict how many tickets will be returned, or when they will be available for purchase. Tickets can be released at any time during the resale period.

No refunds, exchanges, or resales can be made after the close of the Ticket Resale Facility.
