Our Top 3 Must-See Acts For Porchland 2018
Head 40 minutes south of Adelaide and you'll find one of the nicest festivals out there!
Set up in the middle of a pine clearing at The Range, Porchland is gearing up for a beautiful day out this Saturday, full of live music, golden South Australian food, wine and wares.
With just a few days to go until the festivities kick off, we thought we'd highlight our top three must-see acts of the day to get you all excited.
Waxahatchee
Scoring a major breakthrough last year with 'Out in the Storm', Kaite Crutchfield aka Waxahatchee is certainly a force to be reckoned with. We were pretty impressed after the launch of her latest EP 'Great Thunder'. Her music offers solidarity in an otherwise lonely world, offering up emotionally dense lyrics paired with beachy guitar undertones, you'll be kicking yourself if you don't experience it live.
Waxahatchee plays at Porchland from 4.20pm.

Greta Stanley
She's a little pocket rocket that will leave your heart feeling a whole lot warmer. Born in Townsville before moving to the rural town of Mena Creek, Greta Stanley is making all kinds of noise and she's not stopping anytime soon. If you like your music like you like your cruisy Sunday afternoons then Greta is a must-see!
Greta Stanley plays at Porchland from 3.20pm.

Nice Biscuit
Inspired and empowered by other female-lead bands, twin powerhouses Billie and Grace front the garage psych-pop band Nice Biscuit. Hailing from Brisbane, the six-piece band have built quite an impressive following, capturing the attention of acts including Allah-Las, The Growlers and Jen Cloher. Their music explores diverse and progressive sounds, featuring hauntingly beautiful vocals paired with funky prog-rock riffs. Billie and Grace also wear matching costumes every gig, what more could you want?
Nice Biscuit performs at Porchland from 7.20pm.
