Melbourne electronic dance producer and local larrikin, Benson will be causing a ruckus up on the 170 Russell d-floor tomorrow night, alongside special guests Jamo, Hoodlem, Stace Cadet and Morning Maxwell. Expect epic new visuals and sweet dancefloor bangers to keep you going all night long.
Underground Lovers @ Hotel Esplanade - Sat 1 June
90's electronic indie-pop outfit, Underground Lovers are heading to the Gershwin Room at Hotel Esplanade to play a special show full of new tracks, as well as faves from the band's vast back catalogue. They'll be bringing with them very special guests ATOM and Sunfruits.
AMBROSE AKINMUSIRE @ 170 Russell - Sun 2 June
Hailed as 'jazz's most influential bandleader under 40' by The New York Times, Ambrose Akinmusire has been able to weave a multitude of genres into jazzy compositions that are extremely easy on the ears. He's playing at 170 Russell this Sunday as part of Melbourne International Jazz Festival. If you're partial to some Jazz in your weekend playlist, then we suggest you check out this gig.
Lonnie Holley @ Sydney Opera House - Friday 31 May
The visionary improvisation artist Lonnie Holley is bringing his unique sound to Sydney Opera House for Vivid LIVE tomorrow night. With all of his music and lyrics improvised on the spot, we're sure they'll be some exciting surprises on the night.
MOTHERFUNK w/ KYOSHI & CINTA @ The Vanguard - Fri 31 May
