Here's Where You Can See Acts From The Hottest 100 Live in 2020

This year's Hottest 100 saw US pop star Billie Eilish make history, becoming the first-ever female solo artist to make number one with her track Bad Guy. Billie also scored the most songs on the list, with a total of five tracks, followed by G Flip and Lime Cordiale with four tracks and Tones And I, Flume, Thelma Plum, Tame Impala, Ruel and Benee with three.

The Jungle Giants, Hilltop Hoods, DMA's, The Chats, Ocean Alley, Skegss, Dom Dolla, PNAU and Baker Boy were also amongst the homegrown acts that made the list.

Whilst the Hottest 100 may be done and dusted for 2019, the good news is, you can still catch a bunch of the amazing acts who made the top 100 around the country in 2020. Check out the events happening near you below.


#3 - Mallrat

Brissy powerhouse Mallrat scored a place in the top three with her fun-loving track, Charlie. The track, named after her beloved family dog is a super emotional one, centred around her parents and love. #10 - Hilltop Hoods

Coming in at #10 was Hilltop Hoods 'Exit Sign', featuring Aussie hip hop legend Illy and genre-defying singer-songwriter Ecca Vandal. Catch the hip hop trio at Lemonade Festival in Sale, Victoria on Sunday 8 March.

#22 - Ruel 

At the mere age of 17, singer-songwriter Ruel is absolutely smashing it, releasing hit after hit. His recent track 'Painkiller' scored number 22 in the countdown, with 'Face To Face' and 'Free Time' also making the top 100. The rising superstar will be playing a bunch of shows around the country very soon.

#44 - Baker Boy

Baker Boy, aka Danzel Baker, is someone we've had our eyes on for quite some time now. His high-energy live performances paired with his powerful and emotionally charged songs made him a shoo-in to land a spot in the top 100. This year's countdown featured two tracks from the Indigenous hip-hop artist with 'Cool As Hell' securing #44 and 'Meditjin' coming in at #98.

#53 - Fisher

Who can forget Aussie producer Fisher's smash tech-house hit 'Losing It', taking home the #2 spot on triple j's Hottest 100 of 2018. The DJ sensation has done it again, snapping up another spot in the top 100 for 2019 with his track 'You Little Beauty'. 

Today Fisher also announced his first-ever Australian headline tour, enlisting an all-star crew for support duties including Booka Shade (LIVE), Ibiza Deep House DJ of the Year 2019 Maya Jane Coles, superstars PNAU (DJ set), Italian tech-lord behind anthem 'Braindead' Piero Pirupa. #57 - Slowly Slowly

Aussie pop-punk bandits Slowly Slowly made their Hottest 100 debut this year, securing #57 with their single 'Jellyfish'.

The four-piece announced a national tour yesterday to promote their new album 'Race Car Blues'. The six-date national tour kicks off in April, with shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Hobart, Launceston. Tickets are on sale from 9 am AEDT on Thursday, 30 Jan. You can also catch the band at Lemonade Festival in Sale, Victoria this March.

#72 - Angie McMahon

Melbourne based solo artist Angie McMahon ain't no rookie when it comes to nabbing a spot on the hottest 100. Her song 'Missing Me' came in at #49 in the 2018 countdown and 'Slow Mover' secured #33 in 2017. This year it was the songwriter's track 'Pasta' that won over voters, coming in at #72.

Angie performs at O'Fiesta 2020 at Flinders University Plaza in Adelaide on Friday 28 Feb and in Queensland in March at Nine Lives Festival held at The Tivoli.

#76 - Meg Mac

Since taking out the 2014 J Award for Unearthed Artist of the Year, Melbourne singer Meg Mac has gone from strength to strength and her track 'Something Tells Me' is no exception, landing #76 in this year's countdown.

#80 - Spacey Jane

Freo garage pop and indie rock four-piece Spacey Jane certainly know what's 'Good For You', taking out #80. The band's track 'Good For You' talks about love, doubt, broken relationships and acts as a reminder that none of us are perfect.

#95 - Adrian Eagle

Adrian Eagle has come leaps and bounds since his 2017 breakout single '17 Again', with his latest track 'A.O.K' scoring him #95 in the countdown. Since his breakout single, the singer-songwriter had supported the likes of Hilltop Hoods and indie-pop powerhouse Tones & I.

#100 - Dune Rats
