How would you describe your music to someone who hasn't listened to it before?

Soulful R&B laced with Indie Guitars and percussive polyrhythms.

What female artists inspire you?

Some of the most inspirational women to me growing up have been Jill Scott, Meshell Ndegeocello and Sarah Vaughan.

You've already found yourself in the studio with the likes of SZA, DRAM, The Social Experiment Crew. Who would you love to work with in the future?

I would love to work with 070 shake and someone who I know but am yet to work with in the studio is Sampa The Great. She is incredible.

Your live performances feature some amazing visuals. How important do you think visuals are to an artist's live performance?

I think it adds so much to a show experience when the act has thought about the visual aspect. And that doesn't have to be a whole LED screen situation, or projections or whatnot even just well thought out lighting for each song, how the stage and themselves are dressed, really any attention to detail will come across and create a more encapsulating show I believe.

Let's chat about your latest single 'Switch Off'. What was it like working with The Social Experiment?

It was honestly so easy and chill and such a great collaborative experience. Which is what their whole collective is about. They really know how to pull the best parts out of people and combine them all together. This song ended up being so meditative throughout the whole process and that really translated lyrically also.

Any other exciting collaborations in the works?

Yes there are a few but I can't say right now!
