ZSA ZSA & Hot Goblin bring you a night of electronic songwriting and experimental pop.

CANDLE THERAPY

Ah, the solace of a candle. We have grown too accustomed to the fierce, unforgiving
light that crusts the edges of our electrical grid. Under electric lighting, protons
become excited, which leads to primary and secondary proton shedding and negative
personality changes. Please join us for our light de-toxification Candle Lounge on
October 13. Unfortunately, due to lobbying from the electric light monopoly,
traditional candles are no longer manufactured. One glow-candle will be provided on
entry.

ZSA ZSA (Zsa Zsa Gyulay) muses on love, gender, trauma and care. Their releases
range from hyperpop to sad folk, and their live show reflects this mix of sounds and
influences with eclectic arrangements and grooves. Performing with altered voice,
bass guitar and electric drum pedals, and joined by angels Amy Kennett (synthesizer)
and Finn Jeffery-Berryman (woodwinds), this will be Zsa’s first trio show.

Hot Goblin is the solo project of Ella Mosley - with self-produced backing tracks and
a mic, it began as a way to make her feel more at ease on stage and adopt a persona
unlike her previous musical self. Albeit through performing she has found that this is
where her comfort and being lies. Her work dwells in ambience but enjoys contrasting
this with lighter, poppier components. Hot goblin sinks into the romance of
performance. Pining, wishing, falling over herself.
