Taronga Zoo Sydney Holiday Program
Taronga’s Wild Squad Zoo Adventurers is a fun, educational holiday program for children aged 5 – 10yrs, where they are taken on an exciting zoo journey, learning about animals and the environments they live in.
This unique school holiday program provides children with engaging experiences whilst being surrounded by the sights and sounds of the zoo and the animals that live here. Your children will be amazed and excited as they join in animal themed activities and meet our friendly keepers who care for the animals that live at Taronga Zoo Sydney.

Zoo Adventure guest may be dropped off and picked up from the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning, located to the right of the Main Entry Archway and through some glass doors (and indicated by the large red arrow on the map)
The Program:
MONDAY 15th APRIL Pachyderm Parade | Meet a Keeper experience – Elephants Join us as we start the holidays at Taronga visiting our big, bold & beautiful Elephants. We will meet the keepers and learn all about elephants & have lots of big fun to start the holidays! |
TUESDAY 16TH APRIL Beautiful Backyards | Meet a Keeper experience – Backyard to Bush -Farmyard Learn how to turn your backyard into a wonderful sanctuary for Native wildlife & discover that small sustainable changes can make big differences to our natural world – it’s easy once you know how! |
WEDNESDAY 17TH APRIL Amazing Aquatics | Meet a Keeper experience – Marine Mammals Our oceans, vast yet fragile, largely unexplored but tragically treated. Today we discover how to help maintain a healthy ocean balance providing a safe, clean, watery world for all with a future full of fish! |
THURSDAY 18TH APRIL Come Fly With Me | Meet a Keeper experience – Bird Show Birds – with incredible colours, diverse behaviours & amazing superpowers. Come fly the friendly skies with our Free Flight Bird Show today. We learn all about the wonderful world of our feathered friends & how we can help them, Let’s look at eggs and get eggcited for Easter with themed craft and games! |
