The Strides

The Strides are a force for Reggae music in Australia and worldwide. Fronted by roots man Ras Roni from Barbados via London, Fijian MC LTL GZeus and Sierra Leonian ragga powerhouse Blaka C, The Strides deliver a musical experience that is as explosive as it is authentic.

With three acclaimed albums under their belt and one set for release in early 2019, a European label signing, festival appearances across the country and having graced the stage with the likes of Third World, Julian Marley, Tony Allen and Groundation, The Strides' music faithfully builds on the foundations of classic roots reggae with a hip-hop edge, forging a sound that brings together modern dance hall, dub beats and reggae-pop.

After 10 years of touring, this world class 9-piece have become a reggae institution, melding a diversity of cultures and instrumentation under the one universal consciousness.

Papaya Tree

Since Papaya Tree's conception almost two years ago, the band has left no venue untouched on their journey. Relentlessly playing gigs, writing songs and recording, the six-piece outfit are unveiling their third single 'youth.'

Their previous single, 'Radar,' garnered them a sold-out show at the iconic Lansdowne Hotel, alongside spot rotation on Triple J and FBi radio, as well as love from local text makers. By refining they're infectious live show through a number of notable supports, 'Youth' continues the stepping stones that will take Papaya Tree across Australia's east coast in November and December.

Young, fresh and eager to please (if you 'd let them). Papaya Tree 's namesake fruit isn't the only thing sweet about this band. They have had the opportunity to create an eclectic mix of styles, melding elements of rock, funk, and jazz to create their sound. 'Youth' is a hard-hitting track that addresses the age-old wives tale; the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Jermango Dreaming

Jermango Dreaming is the psychedelic pop project of Sydney-based artist Jermaine Sakr. While the tone is typically laid-back and lulling, each Jermango Dreaming conception still holds a strong groove, often influenced by 1970s/80s funk and electric dreams. Jermango branches from artist-run collective and label Yeah Nah Yeah and is a part of Hector Gachan and Dives live band.

The Talkers

Four piece Indie Rock from the South Coast.
