Rainbow Chan

Rainbow Chan is a singer, producer and multi-disciplinary artist. Since winning FBi Radio's Northern Lights Competition (2011), Chan has built a reputation as one of the most innovative artists in Australia with her idiosyncratic brand of pop and vibrant aesthetics.

She often draws on nostalgia, diaspora and her Chinese heritage-the result is a collage of seemingly disparate sounds and cultures. Her debut album Spacings (Silo Arts) was chosen as feature album on FBi, Radio Adelaide, RTRFM, and received 4 stars from Rolling Stone. She scored FBi's most played artist and song of 2016, and received two SMAC Award nominations for Best Live Act and Record of the Year.

Rainbow has toured extensively including performances at the Sydney Opera House, Iceland Airwaves, Vivid, Mona Foma and Melbourne Music Week. In October 2016, she was invited to perform at Longli International New Media Arts Festival, China. She has worked with MusicNSW as a mentor for Women in Electronic Music, and was a recipient of an Opportunity Development Grant. Rainbow teaches the Bachelor of Contemporary Music Practice at the University of Sydney and has facilitated production workshops at Girls Rock! Canberra and Bunga Barrabugu Summer/Winter Program, Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Rainbow recently released a new EP, titled FABRICA, via Healthy Tapes.

- Cry Club

Cry Club - a 2 piece noisy queer pop band formed in January 2018

After a big first year playing shows with the likes of RAAVE TAPES, Moaning Lisa & Bec Sandridge and appearances at Yours and Owls Festival and BIGSOUND, Cry Club are following up their anti-harassment statement "DFTM" with "Two Hearts".

Produced by Gab Strum and mixed by Scott Horscroft (previous credits include The Presets, Silverchair), "Two Hearts" is a favourite of the band - detailing that loss of self preservation when you've fallen head over heels for someone you shouldn't.

- Hollie Col

With memorable melodies, raw lyrics and powerful drum builds, this singer/songwriter from Sydney will transcend all you thought you could feel. Hollie Col's tracks are layered with emotion, honeyed tones, and universal sentiments that'll have you hanging on every word.

- The Shang

The Shang are a four-piece alt-rock band from Camden in the outskirts of Western Sydney. Birthed at an open mic night in their local bowling club, they played their first show as a four-piece in December of 2016, and have since developed their passion for playing together. They hold close to their hearts their different influences, from rock to psychedelia, incorporating these elements into their playing style.

In early 2017, The Shang released their debut single 'Kiki', which currently boasts over 300,000 plays on Spotify, drawing attention from Sydney, Melbourne and London. They have since released an EP titled 'The Kiki EP' which also encounter success with each
track exceeding 10,000 plays.

The boys are set to release their follow up single, 'Feel Your Lies' in early 2019 backing it up with a national tour. Using their experiences over the past year, both good and bad, they give you an insight into their world.
