Welcoming very special guests:

- Quivers

Quivers make cathartic guitar pop that jangles and shimmers somewhere between 1980s Australia and 1990s America. Started by Sam Nicholson in Hobart, the now Melbourne band has since toured Australia, NZ, Canada and most recently the US where they showcased at SXSW and filmed a session for KEXP in Seattle. 2018's debut record 'We'll Go Riding on the Hearses' came out through Hotel Motel. On it you might hear the ghosts of early R.E.M. guitars, the earnest lost pop moments of The Triffids or The Church, or the loud melancholy of Teenage Fanclub. Half men and women, everyone-singing, there is grit and spit and community in their live shows. The chorus of Pigeons feels good to shout, "All my best friends are a little broken, all the best people are". Newest single "You're Not Always On My Mind" has been getting some nice international support (KEXP/NPR) and is a song that commits to being a pop song - taking the band deeper down the rabbithole of lyric-heavy chiming guitar-pop

- Fripps & Fripps

Living off Guzman burritos and an affinity for indie pop, Fripps & Fripps crawled out of a local garage and onto Cronulla's live music scene in early 2015. Sending local listeners into a trance to the likes of Sticky Fingers and the Kooks, the boys will have you fucked up and rowdy faster than Bailey Stevenson rapping the end section of 'Freel'. With a full course of bangers the lads have delivered sold out appearances on Sydneys southern fringe and gigged alongside UB40, The Bamboos and Caravana Sun during the Inaugural 'Australian Music Week' conference and 'Hifi Days Festival' in late 2015. And with detailed feedback and some desert magic from local guru Ant Beard, the boys decided it was time to re-enter the Fripp Cave and start cooking up some seriously tasty shit for release in 2016. With hard-earned gig coin and making the switch to four x summer, the boys shut themselves off from civilisation in a downtown garage and began recording the songs that would be their debut EP, a sun drenched array of backyard spliff and effortless summer fun. Dropping early hints with the tracks 'Maria' and 'Freel', Fripps & Fripps have become one of the most anticipated acts on their local scene, with all eyes on for their debut EP set to drop early 2017.

- Your Girl Pho

The crown jewel in her fizzing, elasticated blend of neo-soul, electro-pop and RnB elements, Pho's "soulful vocals" (NYLON) have enjoyed airplay with triple j, RTRFM, 4ZZZ and more; via her own work as well as collaborations with electronic producers Palais, Tayrell and Ukiyo, the latter of which earnt a nod from Majestic Casual.   Dubbed a "sensory feast" thanks to her distinctive style and "daring dance moves" (Music Insight), Pho's live show has also seen her share stages with the likes of Post Malone, The Avalanches, Banoffee and Kllo, and now features a tight three-piece band (drums, saxophone).

- Majak Door

Majak Door, the super groovy psychedelic exploration of wavy guitars, laid-back vibes, pulsating rhythms and dreamy choruses. Think surfy jangle pop with good a humour. You're gonna wanna put on some tropical attire and get on down to it.

2018 saw the group release debut EP Weird Guy, which enjoyed over 50,000 streams on Spotify. The band notched up over 50 shows that year and that carried them into 2019 where the boys viscously continued gigging. They released a number of singles after, including 'Daisies' which is set to be featured in their upcoming LP planned to be release in OCT 2019.
