With their heartfelt lyrics and magnetic personalities, the women of the country music scene were bold, outspoken and strong. 'Women of Country' showcases some of the iconic female voices and songwriters of the 70s, 80s & 90s including Dolly Parton, Bobbie Gentry, Linda Ronstadt, Reba McEntire, June Carter Cash, Lynn Anderson, Shania Twain, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, LeAnn Rimes, Loretta Lynn, Emmy Lou Harris and more. 

As some of the foremothers of country music, these ladies are considered to be not only some of the top singers from a lyrical and popularity standpoint, but also due to their importance in making it culturally acceptable for country music to accept females in a male-driven industry. 

Featuring multi-instrumentalist Lozz Benson on Drums, Vocals & Autoharp leading her 4-piece band, this collection of songs and stories will have you line dancing and singing along!
