Craft Music presents
WILLIAM CRIGHTON with guests SORDID ORDEAL
With music best described as “Bush Psych”, William Crighton is steadily making a name for himself as one of the country’s most exciting and innovative musicians and story tellers.
The last two years have seen Australian artist William Crighton win an ARIA, support Midnight Oil and The Dead South on tours around the world, play his first Glastonbury and release his third album ‘Water and Dust’.
A fusion of traditional music and unexpected experimentation, William's songs explore vivid stories, from tales of Australian history to euphoric conversations with ants. A born and bred Riverina kid (Wiradjuri Country), Crighton's music is soaked in the essence of the country he is from.
“… a strikingly singular talent … Crighton burns with ragged intensity … he’s a classic Australian storyteller” ~ Stack Magazine
