♦ BASENJI ♦

Whether he's recreating a marching band or sending you into a woodblock-driven frenzy, Basenji is constantly exploring the boundaries of the electronic music scene and always giving listeners something new to listen to. With only a few songs to his name thus far, the Sydney-sider's homemade blend of eclectic percussion and R&B-inspired melodies has already turned heads all over Australia, clocking up countless plays on Triple J and community radio stations around the country. On the back of a huge 2014, Basenji is definitely one of the most exciting fresh young acts in Australia and will no doubt leave plenty of crowds speechless in the coming months.

♦ SABLE ♦

Knocking international superstars like Cashmere Cat from their iTunes chart glory, & blazing a path towards a massive 1 million plays on SoundCloud, West coast beat kid 'Sable' continues to dominate the Australia air waves with his sugar-rush radio single 'Feels So Good', from his debut EP of the same name, released through Warner Music Australia earlier in early 2014. Sable now stands strong as one of the most exciting acts on the Australian electronic music landscape. Remixes for Aussie pop princess Bertie Blackman, forthcoming work with new Aus-rap sensation Tkay, and his free-download reworks of R n B jams and commercial hip hop are lapped up by thousands across the globe, Sable keeps the fans hungry for more.

♦ GRMM ♦

At only 24, GRMM - the solo project of Sydney's Benn Markos - has emerged as one of the Australian beat makers leading dance music's new guard. After trailblazing DJ Diplo gave an audience of millions seal of approval to his track What You Need, GRMM connected online with vocalist Father Dude to create the chill-trap powerhouse Electrify. Already, Electrify has landed on high rotation on Australia's most respected radio station Triple J, hit the #2 spot on the iTunes electronic chart and amassed more than half a million streams on SoundCloud. Other polished remixes of The Preatures, Yolanda Be Cool and British Act Gorgon City have also made waves, making it clear that GRMM is hitting all the right notes.

♦ FRAMES ♦

Pushing the sounds of warm & grooving handclap disco, hypnotic & intricate hipthrust house and energetic, driving letchairdown-techno, no genre is safe and nothing is taboo as Frames spins and warps his magic over 4-8 minute euphoric gems. Calling the sunny shores of Sydney home, Frames hosts a weekly radio show on FBI 94.5fm and has spun records at Splendour in the Grass, Future Music Festival, Big Day Out, Laneway Festival, Playground Weekender & Secret Garden.

♦ KAILO ♦

Dusty samples. Glittering synths and soulful vocals on a hip hop groove; it's a recipe unofficially owned by organic styled producers like Ta-ku, Snakehips, Onra, and Flying Lotus. But Sydney electronic artist Kailo wants to get in on the action; essentially capturing every particle of rainbow ever created and transforming it into sunny musical ear treats through a combination of funk beats, old-school Motown backing vocals, and sultry vocal samples. The public response in Sydney has been immense; with Kailo playing regularly gigs at venues World Bar, Chinese Laundry, and the Ivy. But with consistent coverage on Triple J and FBI radio as well as an always-growing facebook and soundcloud fan base, it won't be long before the rest of Australia recognises the musical talent and potential these boys have to offer.

♦ HOUSE BEAR ♦

The House Bear boys have to be two of the biggest legends ever to perform at Carnivale over its' 13 year history. After spinning tunes in a killer opening set to Carnivale 2013, Ben and Macca have continued to tear it up week after week as Wesley's "resident" DJs.

With more and more gigs around Sydney but an in-depth knowledge of the college scene and what uni students want to hear, hopefully House Bear won't be going anywhere any time soon!
