Well Groomed Racing are very excited to be hosting their first Raceday to raise funds for Transitioning Thoroughbreds, a wonderful Foundation that creates better lives for horses post track life. 

Well Groomed Racing is a group of racing and horse loving enthusiasts who care deeply about their beautiful thoroughbreds on and off the track, and plan to raise funds to ensure they are well cared for post racing.  Any profits from this lunch will be entirely directed to Transitioning Thoroughbreds, the Foundation set up by Jane Gollan, wife of renowned trainer Tony Gollan. Transitioning Thorougbreds rehomes horses post racing and traces them for life.

We are holding this long lunch on the beautiful Members Lawn with pre-lunch drinks at the Champagne Bar at Eagle Farm on Friday September 17 starting at 12 noon.  It will be a seated event MC’d by Mark Oberhardt with fabulous entertainment featuring 8 great races and the amazing Hamilton Band entertaining us between. Come dressed in your finest attire as there will be Fashions on the Field for men and women! 

Tickets can be purchased individually or in groups of tickets of 2, 4, or 6 which will ensure you can be seated with your friends.  Groups of 12 will get a discounted ticketed price of $200 each.  You will also be able to make a donation to Transitioning Thoroughbreds when you purchase your tickets.
