Have you ever been in awe of that carefree hooper on the dancefloor and wondered how they do it? Or you’ve already given hooping a try and you just can’t keep it up? The Wake and Make hoop class will get you spinning that hoop, looking fab, and getting fit at the same time! Come play with Hoops, Thighs and Buttocks’ own teacher Soozyloops to get your booty moving and grooving.

Friday night’s partying has been and the rest of the weekend stretches ahead… Why not drop into Revs for a Saturday afternoon to take a little time to learn & create. The third Saturday of each month we’ll be running our Wake n Make series where talented people will teach you something fun and surprising!

Always a fan of moving and dancing, Sooz spent 17 years training and performing Irish dance, jigging her way to 6x Australian Champion. She went on to teach all the Erins and Sineads their reels and hornpipes for close to a decade.

After quitting the curly wig, fake tan and poodle sock world, Sooz found herself looking for a fun way to still get her kicks. When she came across hula hooping, she didn’t own a pair of hotpants, but was intrigued by exercise that used body parts other than legs! Soon Sooz was getting hoopy every day. Armed with a growing arsenal of sparkly hotpants and hula hoops, the scientist-by-day grew into her hooper-by-night alter ego, Soozyloops.

Soozyloops now teaches for the Melbourne based fun fitness collective Hoops, Thighs and Buttocks. You can check out their happenings here: Hoopsthighsbuttocks.com

During the Wake and Make class, Soozyloops will teach you basic waist hooping, hand hooping, and a few little nifty ways you can join them all together. No experience is necessary. If you have done some hooping before, there will definitely be some trickier moves you can add to your repertoire! Let’s PLAY together!
