The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that HAZEL MEI, originally scheduled to take place @ The Outpost has changed venues and will now be taking place @ The Black Bear Lodge on Sunday 4 July, 2021.

Join Brisbane songstress Hazel Mei as she releases her newest single ‘The Funniest Thing’! With an air of poise and attitude, Hazel Mei is embracing the rich tapestry that is modern music to create a sound of her own; indie pop with a jazz-tinted underlay. Her introspective writing style captures her whimsical, though slightly cynical outlook on the day to day. Hazel Mei is captivating audiences from stereo to stage as she intertwines intricate arrangements with distinctive vocal prowess.

She will be joined by indie rockers With Blue, based out of the Brisbane suburbs, delivering a crisp, guitar-driven sound that melds the bright brit-pop of The Kooks with the lyrical sincerity of Middle Kids. Formed in 2018, the band is made up of high school sweethearts, Jarryd Pollock (guitar, vocals), Will Fenwick (bass), Corbin Redburn (drums), and Tom FitzGerald (lead guitar). Always bringing high energy and a lil’ mischief. 

Also joining the lineup is Monet’s Pond, who’s sweet swirly pop musings will leave you in a nostalgic daydream.
