We're inviting a new artist each month to share their interpretation of iconic LPs. From Pet Sounds to Demon Days, leaving no stone unturned with these fresh takes on well-loved classics.

Drop by Wednesday, 26 September and catch Richard Cuthbert's re-imagining of Neil Young's 1974 classic 'On The Beach' including hits like 'Ambulance Blues' and 'See The Sky About To Rain'. Richard will kick the night off with some original material before treating us to his interpretation.

Richard Cuthbert

Hugely respected for the pop melodies and energy of Cuthbert & the Night Walkers; Richard uses his solo outlet to further develop an uncanny ability to fuse poetic metaphor and direct storytelling into a sound that is unmistakably his own.

Richard released his second full length solo album and Australian Music Prize nominated Peach Plum on Broken Stone Records in 2016 and is due to release a follow-up due at the end of 2018.

He also makes up one quarter of Sydney alt-country-folk collective the Green Mohair Suits whose four albums across ten years have become part of Sydney's contemporary folk tradition.
